Regional Sales Manager

Our client, a well‑respected vertically integrated billion‑dollar protein manufacturer that has enlisted our assistance to help them identify a talented individual for a Food service Regional Account Manager in the Midwest. The successful candidate will emphasize growth through development of new customers as well as the maintenance and growth of existing retail customers.

• Drive incremental growth across MI, OH, IN, IL, WI, IA, MO, KY, PA, NE, WV and KS.
• Expand penetration with distribution partners and regional multi‑unit operators
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans including innovation launches and promotional activity
• Lead and manage broker relationships across the region
• Build strong relationships with US Foods, Sysco, Shamrock and regional distributors
• Create meaningful partnerships with operators by aligning their needs with portfolio solutions
• Represent the brand at food shows, operator meetings and industry events
• Manage your sales pipeline and forecasting through CRM

Who Thrives Here

• 5+ years of food service sales experience
• Proven hunter mentality with a track record of closing new business
• Experience working with regional multi‑unit operators
• Protein experience strongly preferred
• Strong broker management skills
• Culinary background is a plus
• Comfortable with travel (approximately 75 to 80 percent)
• You’ll ideally be located in Illinois, Michigan or the Kansas City area for optimal access to the territory.
