Sales Consultant - Distributor

• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors to influence market share for commercial hardware and electronic security solutions
• Coordinate with business partners to create demand, execute strategy, and successfully close orders
• Advise customers on product mix, applications, and promotions that meet their needs
• Follow up on job quotes with distributors to secure projects and ensure a favorable product mix
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tool for sales reporting and communication of sales activities

• 5+ years of sales or industry experience; B2B sales experience preferred
• Outstanding communication and follow‑up skills with a bias for action
• Ability to have a daily presence in the field, face‑to‑face with customers
• Proficient with MS Office tools and ability to learn industry‑specific software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills

• Degree in Sales, Business, or Marketing
• Knowledge of the door, frame, and hardware or a parallel business
• Openness to development and continuing education
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to travel up to 50%
