For our Northwest Europe Cluster, we are currently recruiting an:
Account Manager Migraine - The Netherlands (Remote) Welcome to our teamThe Belgium – The Netherlands Sales Team works in close partnership with the Marketing, Market Access and Medical Affairs departments to ensure strong cross‑functional and regional alignment.
The positionReporting to the Sales Lead Belgium and The Netherlands, as an Account Manager you will work in The Netherlands and have the sales responsibility of selected Organon products and solutions in the Netherlands. You will be accountable for maintaining and growing sales for the products in the selected portfolio. You will be flexible to visit customers in the regions of the Netherlands where the greatest potential lies.
You will engage with target customers (general practitioners & specialists) to create sustainable value to patients and healthcare through accessible and innovative solutions (including but not limited to Blended Rep principles).
You will create and maintain a strong partnership and trust for short‑ and long‑term value and you will drive customer satisfaction and loyalty to Organon through a deep understanding of each customer’s values and needs. This should be achieved in line with Organon’s customer centricity and customer focus vision, objectives, sales approaches, Strategic Account principles. You will adhere to company policies and standards (ethics, integrity, customer value, adaptability, self‑insight, collaboration) and operate in compliance with national laws and regulations and the sector standards.
ResponsibilitiesSales Results
- Build or maintain partnerships with targeted customers and ensure customer satisfaction, trust & loyalty to selected Organon products.
- Responsible and accountable for achieving or exceeding sales results regarding the assigned portfolio of products reporting to the Sales Lead.
- Create and maintain strong partnerships and trust for short term and long‑term value, drive customer satisfaction and loyalty to Organon.
- Manage interactions with targeted customers that are meaningful, up to date, scientifically valuable and relevant to each individual customer (customised / tailored) based upon an understanding of their needs.
- Understand customer needs related to patient management.
- Give input to the Marketing Manager to develop services & value differentiators.
- Ensure appropriate and professional SL management in close collaboration with medical affairs.
- Maintain the stature of an Organon professional through one’s behaviour in accordance with established company practices, policies and standards.
- Closely collaborate with QRP (Quality Responsible Person) for GDP activities (SOP's assigned in learn to grow), regularly undergoing reminder trainings (GDP training).
- Closely work together with the neurology team in Belgium and the MSL.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
- At least five years of successful work experience in the pharmaceutical field service as an Account Manager.
- Experience in hospital approach in The Netherlands.
- Experience in neurology and migraine is a plus.
- Experience in communicating complex medical and pharmacological information on products and therapeutic concepts.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting. Experience in organising hybrid, online and/or face‑to‑face events.
- Willingness to undertake independent and proactive professional training.
- Strong communication skills, high motivation and enjoyment of networking & strong sociability with a professional appearance.
- Independent, solution‑ and result‑oriented working style with a high level of self‑motivation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
