Position: National Performance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage in a Dealer Relations territory following a promotion or expansion until a permanent Dealer Relations Manager is hired.
  • Day‑to‑day dealer partner relationship management and championing the adoption/ongoing use of the company product in the dealerships.
  • Execute launch planning, manage product implementation and deliver initial and ongoing training to meet the needs of the dealers through regular monthly performance visits.
  • Act as the first point of contact for dealer partners to handle issues and follow up on escalated matters.
  • Bring best‑practice knowledge of the product to dealer partners to support the company’s value proposition daily.
  • Possess an in‑depth understanding of the product functionality, related services, and an overview of the technical functionality to train effectively and communicate appropriate usage.
  • Ensure product changes, new features and releases are communicated and implemented in a timely manner.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Dealer Relations Directors, Training and Enablement, and National Enterprise Account Team.
  • Partner with customers to identify challenges, understand business needs and establish the best solutions offered by automotive

    Mastermind – selling PMC Commitment Contracts, Package Pricing, and/or Acquire Upsells.
  • Practice solution‑based selling as a consultant, ensuring expectations are aligned, goals are being met and consistent ROI conversations are held with Key Decision Makers.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Mastermind through Quarterly Business Reviews and customized workshops at dealerships.
  • Collaborate with the respective Director on negotiations of upsells, downsells, and cancellation‑save strategies.
  • Work closely with training and enablement to consistently reiterate training content while in market with DRM’s.
  • Work closely with each Director and Associate Director to understand regional challenges and provide feedback from dealer visits in a recap sent after each market visit.
  • Forecast and communicate risk and opportunities for coverage of open markets.

  • Focused on hitting & exceeding Dealer Relations revenue targets: PMC revenue increase, package conversions, 6+ month term commitments and conquest.
  • Comfortable conducting QBRs and driving maximum revenue with long‑term commitments.
  • Someone eager to maximize revenue opportunities at each dealership encountered.
  • Proactive self‑starter who is flexible, creative, and has a positive attitude.
  • Willing to help train and empower Dealer Relations team members to conduct QBRs and drive maximum revenue.
  • Able to rehabilitate Red/Yellow Health Status dealers through partnership agreements, conversion to package, or contract renegotiation when necessary.
  • Detail‑oriented and organized in delivering recaps to the Director following each market visit and/or DRM ride‑along.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional sales experience in a luxury retail environment.
  • Proven track record of consistently hitting and exceeding territory retention and revenue quotas.
  • Auto‑retail experience strongly preferred; if lacking, must be passionate about cars.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Significant working experience with CRM tools and reporting.
  • Think quickly, work fast, and embrace change.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Results‑driven, detail‑oriented, organized self‑starter.
  • Strong business and financial acumen in daily work product.
  • Establish meaningful relationships and easily build strong rapport with clients.
  • Experience effectively negotiating, upselling and closing new business deals without discounts.
  • Proactively solicit feedback, ask questions, and resolve issues in a non‑confrontational way.
  • Regularly self‑assess with objective evidence and adapt work to achieve better results.
  • Vested interest in the overall company’s success.
