Our client is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Sales Representative to expand its presence in the Masterbatch & Additives segment. This role focuses on new business development, key account management, and delivering high-performance solutions to plastic processors, compounders, and converters. The position is fully remote, ideally based in Texas or a neighboring Southern state, with frequent travel required across the region.
MainDuties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting plastic manufacturers and processors using masterbatch and additive solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with purchasing, engineering, and production leadership at key customer accounts.
- Collaborate with global and U.S.
-based internal teams to coordinate technical support, product sampling, and field trials. - Maintain pipeline visibility, activity reports, and account data using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Travel frequently for in-person client meetings, site visits, and industry events throughout Texas and neighboring states.
- Strong technical sales experience in masterbatch, additives, or compounding.
- Proven ability to build trust and drive business with manufacturers, not retailers.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, field-based environment.
- 2–3+ years of B2B sales experience within masterbatch, colorants, additives or plastics manufacturing.
- Willingness to travel daily or near-daily for customer engagement.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce preferred.
- Organized, self-motivated, and accountable with a strong drive for performance.
