REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR – CHARTWELLS HE – WEST (REMOTE)
Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services invites applications for a Regional Sales Director responsible for building new business and expanding the Chartwells brand across the Western United States.
Salary: $115,000 – $125,000 plus commissions.
Location: Ideal candidates will be based in a major metro market near a major airport in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zone.
Territory: AZ, CA, NV, UT, OR, WA, , MN, WY, AK, HI.
Travel: Extensive, up to 75% within the territory.
Job Summary: We create a culture of care and performance. As Regional Sales Director, you report to the National Vice President of Sales and drive profitable market growth of new opportunities within the Chartwells Higher Education market. You will establish strategic relationships and direct the sales process in collaboration with operating partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exceed annual new business target/quota.
- Cold calling, prospecting and networking to develop markets.
- Strong time management and territory development skills.
- Identify necessary support resources to successfully close new business.
- Communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
- Multi-task and establish priorities.
- Commit to Compass Sales Process.
- Use CRM, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
- Maintain high energy, positive attitude and excellent communication/presentation skills.
Qualifications:
- BA or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years sales experience; preferred 80% new business focus.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and targets.
- Strong executive presence and ability to progress further in the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated to earn well over $150.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with CRM database management system.
- High degree of personal accountability and integrity with emphasis on emotional intelligence.
- Experience adapting to and building relationships with different personalities.
