Territory Sales Associate - Western U.S. primary location options:
Phoenix/Scottsdale or Las Vegas. US-based with a 75% travel component.
Reports to:
National Sales Manager, WHILL Mobility Sales.
WHILL, Inc. is growing and seeking an energetic Territory Sales Associate – Western U.S. to support sales growth across the Western U.S. (AZ, CA, CO, , NV, OR, WA). This entry-level sales role provides hands-on exposure to outside sales, channel partnerships, and the medical device industry. The associate will work closely with senior sales leaders to engage prospective and existing partners, support training efforts, and help expand WHILL’s market presence.
No prior experience in medical device sales is required for this role; however, a strong passion for learning and effective time-management skills is essential.
Responsibilities- Meet with potential and existing B2B partners to conduct sales presentations, in-services, and training sessions.
- Support the achievement of regional revenue goals within the assigned territory.
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through inbound and targeted outbound outreach.
- Help execute territory and account strategies in coordination with sales leadership.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including contacts, opportunities, and activity notes.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify new revenue opportunities.
- Travel extensively (up to 75%) to build relationships with customers and channel partners.
- Provide excellent service to customers, prospects, and partners.
- Attend trade shows, marketing events, and company meetings as needed.
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, retail, or business development preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn medical device sales.
- Demonstrated ability to meet goals or performance targets.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to lift, load, and transport devices weighing up to 60 lbs as part of product demonstrations and training sessions.
- Salary range: $75K-$85K annually (plus potential additional commission based on sales).

- Active participation in virtual meetings; ability to engage in scheduled video calls, presentations, and team discussions using video conferencing platforms.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; manage multiple tasks with attention to detail; work independently and in a team.
- Remote/Hybrid/Field Based Work Requirements:
- Work in office, remote, and field-based settings as needed; reliable internet access; maintain professional remote work environment when working remotely.
- Travel Requirements:
- Frequent travel by air/car to domestic or international destinations as needed; up to 75% travel.
- Technology Use:
- Operate computer, phone, and standard office equipment; willingness to learn digital platforms for communication, documentation, and task management.
- Attendance and Time Commitment:
- Regular, predictable attendance; timely responsiveness and presence during scheduled virtual meetings; occasional flexibility to assist with urgent department needs.
