About

The Role

We are seeking licensed Property & Casualty insurance sales professionals to join our remote inside sales team. This role is ideal for agents who enjoy phone‑based sales, consultative conversations, and working in a performance‑driven environment.

You will sell pet insurance policies to pet owners across the U.S., guiding customers through coverage options, handling objections, and confidently closing the sale—all while maintaining strict compliance standards.

Compensation
  • Base salary + commission
  • Average annual earnings: $45,000+, with commission upside based on performance
What You’ll Do
  • Sell pet insurance policies through inbound and outbound calls
  • Handle high call volume (approximately 70% outbound / 30% inbound)
  • Educate customers on coverage, deductibles, reimbursement levels, and exclusions
  • Overcome objections and ask for the sale on every qualified interaction
  • Accurately quote and bind policies in compliance with underwriting guidelines
  • Upsell preventive care endorsements when appropriate
  • Manage follow‑ups via CRM, phone, text, email, and live chat
  • Request customer referrals and reviews
  • Provide feedback to leadership to help improve the customer experience
Schedule & Work Environment
  • Fully remote
  • Monday–Friday with 1 Saturday per month
  • Rotating shifts (Central Time): 8:00am–4:00pm, 9:00am–5:00pm, 10:00am–6:00pm
Required Qualifications
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license (resident or non‑resident)
  • 1+ year of phone‑based insurance sales experience
  • Proven ability to handle objections and close sales
  • Comfort with outbound calling and sales metrics
  • Strong understanding of insurance compliance and ethical selling
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills
  • Reliable remote work setup
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pet insurance, health, life, or supplemental insurance sales experience
  • Call center or inside sales environment background
  • Veterinary, animal care, or pet industry experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish a plus)
