Job Summary

We are hiring for the position of Membership Sales Specialist in Lutz, Florida. The Membership Specialist promotes and sells memberships to Thousand Trails, meeting sales targets, and acts as a Goodwill Ambassador to all potential customers, communicating the benefits of membership.

The role provides education to potential customers and builds awareness of the various membership products. Seasonal and year‑round positions are available, and a site is provided for the Specialist at designated parks.

Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed sales goals – compensation is directly related to effort and skill, with opportunities for monthly and yearly bonuses.
  • Understand and effectively communicate current membership promotions and be thorough and complete with contracts.
  • Understand and provide expert information on new membership products.
  • Maintain a healthy and professional relationship with current members to drive referral business.
  • Implement membership awareness at assigned campground(s) through various outlets.
  • Engage with and educate on‑site staff to encourage, reward and recognize staff referrals.
  • Provide robust customer service and sales skills, detail‑oriented.
Qualifications
  • Sales experience is strongly recommended.
  • Thriving in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented sales environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Drive, email, cloud‑based software sales programs; quick‑study of industry/company specific programs;
    Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Collaborative, energetic, and enthusiastic.
  • Professional behavior and appearance.
  • Excellent communication on phone, via email, and in person.
  • Self‑motivated and strong multi‑tasker.
