Job Description
Are you a recent graduate, looking for an opportunity to work within an organization that will recognize your unique abilities to connect with potential clients throughout Atlantic Canada. RoleAs part of a dynamic sales team, Sales Lead Coordinator will work to constantly improve the onboarding of new client leads/opportunities into our CRM system. You will have countless tools and resources at your disposal to be able to multi-task and handle several lead streams simultaneously. This position, although entry level within the organization, will expose you to our entire operation allowing you to see first hand how the brokerage manages our client relationships by creating meaningful content and touchpoints throughout the policy life cycle.
The core parts of your role will be:
- Inbound lead management, maintaining and exceeding current service level expectations
- Quoting home, auto and recreational risks within industry specific programs and software
- Organizing new prospect client files within broker management system, following a detailed sales operating procedures to ensure accuracy of database
- Setting follow-ups and abeyances to build a prospect sales database to ensure sales funnel levels to meet future business targets
- Provide detailed activity reporting to management team
- Face of the organization for all digital leads received from current and future company websites, social media platforms, email and other streams
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of Higgins Insurance digital presence and sales activities, which will include digital sales forecasting exercises
- Exceeding sales and operational targets for the organization, team and individual

About You:
- Ability to work independently, remotely (as required) and within a team setting to maximize your personal strengths with work requirements
- Recent successful completion of Post secondary education
- Past working experience in a service-related industry with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Proficient with windows-based applications and social media platforms for business
- Energetic individual seeking to build intangible business skills that are acquired from the hands-on experience of sales/marketing within a nimble, local business.
- Highly motivated person, that is considered a self-starter and actively seeks out opportunities to grow and learn.
- Inquisitive by nature, to understand prospects current position to better tailor solutions to their specific needs. One size, never fits all approach.
- The constant desire to win!
- Working knowledge of windows and Microsoft applications required
- Ability to multi-task accurately and with confidence
- French fluency (written) considered an asset, but not a requirement
This position offers a competitive salary with a range from $44,581 to $61,299, along with rewarding bonuses that recognize your dedication. - Please note this is a full time in office position.
- Hours of operations:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 4:30.
