Brain & Code is a Vancouver-based eCommerce development agency working with mid-market businesses across North America. We specialize in building performance-driven websites using platforms like Adobe Commerce, Magento, Shopify and Woo Commerce. Our clients come to us to fix what’s broken, streamline what works, and scale what matters.

About the Role:

We’re hiring our first Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow through outbound outreach. As a BDR, you’ll be responsible for generating new opportunities, booking qualified discovery calls, and helping us build a consistent sales pipeline from scratch.

What You’ll Do:
  • Identify and research potential clients that match our ideal customer profile
  • Write and send personalized cold emails and Linked In messages
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, Linked In, and potentially cold calls
  • Manage and organize lead data using tools like Google Sheets, Notion, or CRM
  • Book qualified meetings for our partners (who will handle closing)
  • Experiment with messaging, cadence, and tactics to improve outreach results
You’ll Succeed If You:
  • Are a strong writer and communicator (English fluency required)
  • Are organized, self-driven, and comfortable working remotely
  • Thrive on building relationships and being persistent with outreach
  • Have experience with outbound tools (Apollo, Instantly, Hunter, Linked In Sales Nav)
  • Are curious about digital commerce, websites, and eCommerce platforms
Nice to Have (Not Required):
  • Experience selling services for a digital agency, SaaS, or eCommerce-related product
  • Familiarity with Adobe Commerce, Magento, Shopify, or Woo Commerce ecosystems
  • Previous BDR/SDR experience or tech sales training
Compensation:
  • Commission: CAD $200–$400 per qualified meeting held
