Overview
Yushiro Manufacturing America, a leading chemical manufacturing company specializing in developing high-quality metal working fluid solutions for the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team. This position covers the territory of South Carolina and Georgia and offers remote flexibility, a company car, cell phone, laptop, and monthly commission bonuses.
We are seeking an ideal candidate characterized by a results-driven approach, a genuine passion for sales, and a knack for cultivating strong customer relationships. In the role of Outside Sales Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include spearheading the generation of new business, nurturing and expanding existing accounts, and delivering exemplary customer and product service to our valued clients.
Responsibilities- Understand the existing customer base and build relationships to ensure proper service and support to manage and retain our business.
- Generate new business and expand existing accounts through cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
- Travel to customer facilities to conduct product service including sampling, on-site testing, provide technical support, and product presentations.
- Effectively interface with our manufacturing plant, lab, and customer service personnel to serve customer needs.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales activity reports.
- Attend semi-annual sales meetings, trade shows, and conferences to promote company products and services when necessary.
- Continuously stay updated with industry trends and market changes to identify new business opportunities.
- Submit expense reports detailing customer contact activity in a timely manner.
- Prepare an annual sales budget for territory with the support of the District Sales Engineer.
- Proven track record of success in outside sales, with experience in the manufacturing industry or industrial sales preferred but not required. Metalworking fluid sales or experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in an industrial factory environment requiring manual dexterity, walking, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Reside preferably within a 45 mile radius of the Greenville SC area with the ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in utilizing the various applications within the Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university.

TravelThis position will require day travel and some overnight, depending on the city of residence, averaging 4-6 overnight stays per month. A company car will be provided for travel.
This position will be manual dexterity and the ability to work in a factory environment. This position will require walking, reaching, and occasionally lifting, up to 50 pounds. The employee will be regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions in industrial environments.
