This role is fully remote with the opportunity to work from a home office. The Southwest territory covers TX, AZ, AR, NM, OK, LA, UT, AL, and MS.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Metabolic and Ketogenic product sales in the territory based on quotas set by sales management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals (neurologists, epileptologists, geneticists, RDs, NPs, RNs).
- Educate medical professionals about the benefits and applications of the Ketogenic diet for Epilepsy.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with latest research on medical nutrition and Epilepsy treatment, and Inborn Errors of Metabolism.
- Target key HCPs and reach consumers through strategic Metabolic & Ketogenic patient events.
- Engage with call points including local HHC/DME partners, State DOH, pharmacies, and local distributors.
- Build partnerships with key customers and accounts.
- Responsible for outbound promotion of Nutricia's products and services, understanding how access, coverage, and fulfillment affect state selling strategies.
- Collaborate with regional DME and distribution partners to increase sales and close new business.
- Consultative selling for products within customer segments; plan and conduct programs (in‑services, continuing health education, regional meetings, etc.) to grow brands.
- Represent Nutricia at industry trade shows when beneficial.
- Consultative selling and promotion to key home health care/DMEs locally to develop strategic partnerships.
- Facilitate strategic Metabolic & Ketogenic consumer events.
- Develop a strategic territory business plan focusing on access, coverage, and fulfillment.
- Review and update business plan quarterly; provide analytic insights into territory data, issues, and opportunities.
- Participate in team meetings to report on overall territory status and provide feedback.
- Manage annual budget for territory activities and programs; share new product ideas, market trends, and competition.
- Deliver quarterly/bi‑annually or as directed business reviews with key partners.
- Identify opportunities requiring multifuncional team approach; serve as main point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Use company tools/resources appropriately to achieve account goals.
- Build sales strategies and partnerships via Lunch and Learns, P2P events, customer business reviews, etc.
- Utilize Nutricia's sales force automation tools (, Veeva) to document contacts; use Power Bi to monitor sales results.
- Provide Quarterly Business Review to manager; complete expense reports per policy.
- Manage territory sample budget and expenses; coordinate field ride‑along schedule with National Sales Mgr.
- Effectively manage business within a large territory; plan field visits at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Identify and communicate product benefits to eligible health care professionals and clients using accurate info and persuasive sales techniques.
- Attend corporate and national/regional sales meetings; resolve client problems appropriately.
- Plan, create, manage, and facilitate sales events such as Consumer Events and Local/Regional Trade Shows.
- Experience working with neurologists, epileptologists, or keto centers.
- Established network within neurology and Epilepsy treatment communities.
- Background in medical nutrition or related field.
