Sales Executive – Signage
Location:
South Wales (office-based to start, hybrid available)
Salary:
Up to £35,000 (DOE) performance incentives

This company has evolved into a full end-to-end signage provider serving local businesses across the region.
With a close-knit team, the business operates its own in-house manufacturing facility, delivery and install providing custom signage solutions, from internal, external, LED, Wood, Metal, Neon and Acrylic.
It has recently entered a new phase under a new Managing Director, who brings over 20 years of signage industry experience. The ambition is clear: grow the business over the next 2–3 years by becoming more proactive, commercial, and sales-led.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created sales role with real impact. There is significant untapped potential in repeat business, local prospecting, and proactive sales — and that’s where you come in.
You’ll be the first dedicated sales hire, working closely with the MD to help grow the business.
The Role
As the Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by:
Managing and converting inbound sales enquiries
Proactively approaching new local businesses (door-knocking, calls, networking)
Building long-term relationships to generate repeat business
Identifying opportunities across all signage needs (retail, commercial, industrial, events, etc.)
Following up quotes and managing the sales pipeline
Working closely with production to ensure smooth handovers and satisfied customers
Initially, the role will be office-based to help you get fully embedded in the business, products, and processes. Once established, hybrid working and more flexibility (including working from home) will be available.
About You
This role would suit someone who is:
Sales-driven and comfortable generating their own opportunities
Confident speaking to local business owners and decision-makers
Organised and proactive, with good follow-up habits
Happy in a hands-on, small-business environment
Experience in selling signage would be a bonus
