Market Development Manager – Radiometer
Radiometer, a Danaher operating company, is looking for a Market Development Manager to nurture and grow relationships in the Medical, Research & Education (MRE), Industry, and Veterinary segments within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Create a territory plan to grow market share and achieve annual revenue targets by utilizing value selling for all assigned product lines.
- Maintain accurate sales funnel, customer contacts, activities and forecasts using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Introduce new business to Radiometer product lines while driving favorable pricing and contract coordination per the company’s growth objectives.
- Leverage installed base and relationships across Radiometer products and other Danaher operating companies to improve visibility, customer intimacy and win‑rates.
- Plan, organize and execute sales calls and lead key accounts throughout the sales cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree required – Scientific/Business major or other scientific major preferred.
- 5+ years sales experience in medical diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, medical device or academia & research, with a background in capital equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of Bio Process, therapeutic drug development, veterinary, and agriculture markets is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), database and CRM.
- Distribution / Manufacturer sales experience (preferred).
- Estimated travel 50‑70% (including overnight within a 10‑15 state territory) and 10% outside the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs and meet other physical requirements.
The position is eligible for a remote work arrangement. Additional information about remote work will be provided during the interview process.
Salary and Compensation
The salary range is $105,000 – $120,000, with additional commissions/bonus/incentive pay. A comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) plan for eligible employees.
