Your Role and ImpactThe Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activities in support of named VAR & ProAV Channel Partner(s). The ideal candidate will have established relationships at the top AV System Integrators & VARs in the West U.S. region and live in one of the noted centrally located cities. The individual will be tasked with developing View Sonic’s Reseller Channel with a focus on selling Direct View LED, large format displays, interactive displays and digital signage products.
Dayto Day Responsibilities
- Develop and grow key accounts as assigned; maintain and increase volume levels with existing accounts.
- Implement innovative account‑based marketing plans; review marketing investments and ROI; manage ADF funds.
- Selective targeting of strategic customers in the assigned areas—introduce fresh programs and improve communication between View Sonic and target companies.
- Build strong relationships with top‑level management within each account to influence program implementation.
- Maintain a well‑defined sales strategy for all accounts in the region.
- Manage inventory levels, returns, stock adjustments, defective returns, credit memos, and related documentation.
- Maintain high product, competition, team, and communication knowledge; pursue ongoing sales training.
- Assist the Director of Sales and upper management in reviewing and modifying strategies; maintain communication across all organization levels.
- Support future budget development; work with corporate to reduce expenses and maintain operational efficiencies.
- Report competitive pricing, new product introductions, and promotional activities to corporate.
- Attend trade shows, conduct seminars, participate in sales events, provide product training and executive presentations; extensive travel required.
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline. >5+ years of sales‑management experience in the AV channel; experience managing LED display, projection, digital signage, large‑format interactive displays or related products.
- CTS certification, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to promote growth in territory/account and drive sales growth.
- Passionate about.
- Self‑starter capable of making substantial calls, handling high activity volume, maintaining fast pace.
- Accustomed to business travel; excellent time management and detailed record keeping.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding and relationships within the AV consultant community.
