Overview

Boston Scientific is looking for high performing virtual sales representatives with a track record of success to join our team. The Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) will work with a call list provided by Boston Scientific and schedule virtual calls to meet with physicians, provide education, identify key referral networks and determine where Boston Scientific therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.

The VSR must use approved tools and resources for product promotion delivered through a 100% virtual platform.

Work Mode: This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in the local office five days per week.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

VISA: Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities
  • Successfully completes all assigned training for the Virtual Sales Representative role and dedicates time to retain and build foundational product and clinical training.
  • Conduct all sales activities according to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, Adva Med Policies, and Integrity Policies.
  • Comply with promotional programs and lunch-and-learns for HCPS.
  • Provide timely updates to Manager on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, and industry trends.
  • Maintain and update current and prospective target prescriber profiles.
  • Classify customer clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care.
  • Determine where therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.
  • Identify key referral networks for the assigned therapy.
  • Schedule virtual calls to meet with physicians.
  • Location:

    Virtual Sales Representatives will be assigned a call list and will be located within the US. The VSR may live outside the designated sales territory but will be required to work the territory time zone.
Required Qualifications
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university required.
  • Ability to:
  • Successfully complete client training and meet training expectations.
  • Work a schedule that accommodates potentially different time zones.
  • Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal-oriented; excels in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and work effectively on various assignments.
  • Disciplined self-starter with the ability to work from home and flexibility for field work as required.
  • Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g., Microsoft Office, , iPad, apps).
  • Location:

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of related internships, clinical and/or B2B sales experience.
  • Experience selling to cardiology, electrophysiology or PCPs.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of success and ability to drive results in a matrix environment.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities and growing referrals in the assigned territory.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and work effectively on various assignments.
  • Good organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal and active listening skills.
  • Clear, articulate, and grammatically sound speech.
  • Strong learning agility with ability to learn, understand and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and maintain required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge.
