The Job

Territory Manager, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) – US Commercial Field Sales, remote/field role. You will manage a territory of MEP accounts or a mix, handling account management, daily activities and in-person visits. You will analyze metrics in Sales Force, Power BI, and Show Pad to plan routing. Build relationships with Key Decision Makers in your territory (top accounts, RMM, RVP) and MEP NAMs.

You will drive top-line sales through strategy, sell-in opportunities, End User Engagement (selling and lead generation), and accountability against KPIs and goals to ensure service standards and leverage territory relationships. You will also:

  • Manage assigned MEP business;
  • Execute Go-to-Market strategies, product/service programs, marketing programs, and targeted funds;
  • Regularly call on Key Customers in the assigned area with daily travel to distributors, customers, events, etc.;
  • Achieve sales targets for Power Tools, Hand Tools, Accessories, and support key regional chains;
  • Establish relationships with Internal Teams, Distribution, and key end users;
  • Leverage field resources for distributor and end-user product training, outside sales collaborations, and end-user conversion opportunities;
  • Gain knowledge of channel-specific pricing structures and programming;
  • Communicate opportunities, issues, and trends to management and marketing;
  • Manage T&E and MAP Budget and field schedule;
  • Ensure proper use of  to document work plans, visit logs, and customer master data accuracy;
  • Understand Power BI and MS Office Suite.
The Person

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business Management or Engineering preferred);
    Master’s degree preferred. Relevant construction field or client job site experience could substitute for higher education;
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Product, Commercial, Industrial, or similar background;
  • Ability to analyze Power

    BI and Sales Force data to develop strategic growth plans and improve financial performance;
  • Willingness to frequently travel up to 50% local travel; 30% overnight travel;
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and pass all drug and criminal background checks;
  • Capable of handling, training on, and demonstrating products, including ability to lift up to 50 lbs and performing some physical labor.
