Position: Sales- Key Accounts Manager I

This is a remote position.

The candidate for this role can be in any major continental city in the USA within 45 miles from a major airport.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a profile of large Water/Waste Water customers to maintain and increase sales/growth and market share for the P&M Division. Source and develop relationships with high-value potential Water/Waste Water customers leading to sales, margin, market share, and profit growth throughout the Key Accounts business segment. Serve as the single point of contact and manage customer relationships, procurement, and coordinate pricing across Regions/Sales Areas.

    Ultimately, aim to make Sherwin-Williams the single supplier for the national key Water/Waste Water accounts.
  • Work with the Key Accounts Sales Director and other divisional stakeholders to ensure that multiple customer locations receive the same level of service program offerings. Utilize resources, marketing technical, and collaborate with PSG National Accounts to meet customer expectations and achieve long-term sales/market growth. Interface with finance, R&D, sales, operations, and supply chain to meet customer needs.
  • Manage between $10MM-$25MM of assigned large customers with a market potential of $50MM.
  • Education
    • Required: High School or some college
    • Preferred: Bachelors in Business
    Knowledge & Experience
    • Required:
      • Ability to work with all levels of the P&M Sales Organization
      • Ability to work with PSG National Accounts
      • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of multiple corrosion prevention solutions
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to effectively communicate and influence specifiers and asset owners.
      • Experience managing complex sales cycles (12-24 months)
      • Proficient with  or equivalent CRM platform
    • Preferred:
      • 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience in the coatings industry
      • NACE or SSPC certified or other industry certifications
