Position Summary
The TAS is a critical role in our customer model to engage Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of BMS medicines for appropriate patients and delivering a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through scientific dialogue aligned with label. The role builds credibility with regional thought leaders and HCPs in various settings as their primary point of contact. The TAS liaises with other BMS functions to deliver a higher Cx by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientifically grounded manner.
The TAS role is field-based and is expected to spend 100% of time in the field with external customers.
- Portfolio Promotion:
Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner. - Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
- Maintains deep scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Uses tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
- Engages in balanced scientific dialogue with HCPs and maintains medical accuracy.
- Conducts in-office presentations and organizes external speaker programs with approved speakers; stays up-to-date on emerging data for approved indications.
- Collaborates with field teams to enhance the Customer Experience for HCPs and shares insights with internal stakeholders.
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
- Ability to communicate scientific data accurately to support patient care.
- Strong credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create a differentiated Cx.
- Experience in cardiovascular areas preferred.
- Proven account management skills, selling competencies, and track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
- Strong selling and promotional skills with a track record of performance.
- Customer/commercial mindset and ability to drive business results.
- Experience engaging with customers across the patient care journey.
- Account management, problem-solving, and the ability to tailor communications to HCP needs.

- Proficient in using Medical on Call technology for inquiries.
- Strong business acumen and learning agility; balance individual drive with collaboration.
- Integrity and sound judgment aligned with BMS policies.
