Senior Account Executive (DOJ / DOT / DHS – Global)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive (AE) with 8‑10 years of successful direct enterprise software sales experience to the Department of Justice, Department of Energy, and Department of Homeland Security. Candidates will have closed multiple contracts valued greater than $2M and possess deep subject matter expertise in government tactical operations and communications technologies.
- Lead Generation
Drive top‑of‑funnel growth through targeted outbound prospecting, cold calls, personalized emails, Linked In engagement and Hub Spot sequences. Partner with Marketing Manager to coordinate campaigns, trade shows, webinars and events, ensuring timely follow‑up and conversion of marketing‑sourced leads. - Net‑New Revenue Generation
Own the full enterprise sales cycle with DOJ, DHS, and DOE, leading land‑and‑expand strategy across hardware, software and Iridium airtime services. Manage opportunity identification, proposal development, complex quoting, pricing and contract negotiation to close enterprise‑level deals. - Customer Experience & Renewals
On initial contract award, execute implementation and onboarding, coordinate order fulfillment, deliver service kick‑off sessions and serve as trusted advisor to customers. Build and sustain professional networks, execute disciplined cadence of customer engagement, QBRs and technical support.
- 8‑10 years as Senior Account Executive with direct sales of software and hardware platform solutions to DOJ, DHS, DOE (no SDR, AM, CS). Proven year‑over‑year revenue growth and expansion.
- Deep experience selling enterprise SaaS, Customer‑Cloud, and On‑Premise software deployment solutions.
- Subject matter expertise in Communications Equipment, Networking, and Software (Sales SME level) and US Government Tactical experience.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Mentally, physically and legally available for on‑site participation in austere readiness exercises domestically and internationally (including foot marches, transit, extreme weather). Passport required.
- Proven track record selling for a startup (≤500 persons) and an established enterprise (≥3,000 persons).
- Experience selling for a startup company (500 persons or fewer). Previous experience selling for an established enterprise organization (3,000 persons or more).
Remote, within one‑hour driving/uber distance of a major metropolitan airport near NYC or DC.
Travel RequirementsUp to 50‑60% travel/on‑site engagement on business days, rare weekend exceptions. Routine travel to government agency offices and remote sites, may include military installations domestically and internationally.

- Sales Managers (individual contributor role).
- Proximity to military installations or forward‑deployed in‑theater combat support.
