This position is part of the NGS Solutions Sales Team
, based in New York or New Jersey and will be fully remote

Responsibilities
  • Researches and understands territory dynamics, focusing on prospecting and growth opportunities to develop an effective business plan and sales strategy, understanding the competitive landscape, and evaluating competitors’ products to effectively position IDT solutions for a successful sale
  • Develop and manage assigned accounts to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth, and develop and manage strategic partnerships with key customers and leverage internal resources to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Maintains regular communications with customers and prospective customers, including scheduling sales calls and travel itinerary to address customer needs and execute sales strategies through timely follow up, including detailed notes captured within current CRM tools, educating and providing customers with current product sales information through technical presentations
  • Builds in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and applies these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions. Maintains records and communications with the customer base with current CRM tools
  • Maintain regular and informative communications with team members including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, etc.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Life Science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.) or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in molecular and/or laboratory pathology sales and/or field-based customer support, preferably in molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or key performance indicators.
  • Reside in New York or New Jersey, New York is preferred.
  • Familiarity with existing academic, NCCN, corporate, and government accounts in the region.
