Position: Product Specialist (remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Drive local strategies to support profitable growth for assigned products in alignment with company goals
  • Utilize solution selling and provide product training to current and prospective customers
  • Generate new demand for Trex decking and Weyerhaeuser Signature trim in Northern California
  • Serve as a key resource for training, troubleshooting, and overall sales support for customers and peers
  • Market products by developing promotions and supporting customer needs for samples and literature
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum educational requirement:
    High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in building materials distribution sales or product management
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various teams
  • Solid experience in wood products decking product line
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Familiarity with financial drivers in retail, wholesale, and construction industries
  • Established relationships with key vendors and customers in the industry
  • Experience in developing marketing promotions or branding opportunities
