We are looking for a Sales Executive - Small Medium Business (SMB) within the USA market. This is an enterprise multi-proposition sales role focused on driving commercial targets within defined commercial accounts. In a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, you will proactively search for leads and generate sales to develop this fast-growing business unit. This is a team-oriented group that promotes innovative thought and idea sharing.

About the RoleIn this opportunity as a Sales Executive, you will:
- Drive Results: Directly responsible for finding and building opportunities within commercial accounts in a defined territory; utilize complex sales skills to guide prospects/clients through their purchasing decisions of Thomson Reuters products and services.
- Sales Process: Manage sales cycle from identifying prospects, coordinating resources with internal teams, through closing the deal; utilize the One Source sales methodology.
- Building Relationships: Manage relationships with customers post initial sale for upsell; engage and build trusted relationships with Director, VP, and C-level executives
- Communication: Maintain regular cadence with management and update all activities in the CRM (SFDC) and other applicable systems and tools.
- Closing: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota targets.
- Client and Market Intelligence: Provide territory market and competitive information to Thomson Reuters for internal business decisions and positions.
You're a fit for the role of Sales Executive if you have:
- Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales
- 5+ years' experience in consultative sales, closing complex software and services sales, and maintaining customer satisfaction; knowledge in accounting/tax is a plus
- Experience selling consulting/professional services engagements with a proven track record balancing prospecting, existing customer sales and upselling
- Experience creating accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform management's strategic decision-making
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills to meet urgent timelines
- Ability to conduct small and large group product demonstrations and other presentations
- Strong C-suite engagement skills and track record
- Strong record of sustained and significant quota achievement
- Proven ability to execute innovative sales strategies
- Experience in a result-oriented, fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience and proven success at leading complex, strategic negotiations and delivering on subsequent agreements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong experience with email, SFDC, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, and other communication platforms; expense management and travel systems
- Ability to partner and leverage supporting teams such as Sales Consultants, Lead Generation, Professional Services, Product Development and Marketing
