This role plays a vital part in driving national growth by identifying and developing high‑potential new markets across the U.S. The ideal candidate will be integral in seeding and growing new accounts, especially within the convenience store channel. You will engage directly with the sales leadership to help execute the growth strategy and ensure a seamless transition for new accounts.
- Partner with Director Sales to identify key regions with high concentrations of new account opportunities.
- Secure new retail partnerships, focusing on independent and small‑chain convenience stores.
- Open accounts with excellence in merchandising.
- Serve as the frontline brand ambassador in new markets, owning the first impression and initial sales cycle.
- Work cross‑functionally to ensure a smooth handoff of newly opened accounts to local DSD partner for ongoing support.
- Track and report on sales performance, market feedback, and competitive insights from the field.
- Support marketing activations and sampling events within your market/region.
- A passionate, self‑driven sales professional with a proven track record of success in field sales, ideally within the convenience retail space.
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience; strong preference for candidates with knowledge of DSD systems and convenience retail dynamics.
- Exceptional at building relationships quickly with store owners, distributor reps, and regional partners.
- Comfortable working independently and traveling frequently (90–100%).
- Entrepreneurial mindset—energized by creating something from nothing.
- Strong communicator, highly organized, and goal‑oriented.
