The Territory Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across an assigned multi-state territory through distributor partnerships, new account development, and ongoing account management. This role combines field-based selling, relationship management, and territory ownership, with a strong focus on expanding market presence and product penetration.

This is a high-travel, remote field role suited for experienced sales professionals who excel in distributor-driven environments and independently managing large territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and grow a defined territory with full accountability for sales performance
  • Develop new distributor accounts while managing a small base of existing customers
  • Conduct regular in-person field visits to build relationships and identify growth opportunities
  • Introduce new products and expand product penetration within accounts
  • Serve as primary contact for pricing, orders, delivery coordination, and issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pricing updates, and account documentation
  • Provide regular sales activity reports, forecasts, and travel itineraries
  • Collaborate with inside sales and leadership to support territory strategy
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and supplier events
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of outside sales, territory management, or account management experience
  • Experience working with distributors or partner-based sales models
  • Proven success in new business development and territory expansion
  • Ability to manage a large geographic territory with minimal oversight
  • Experience selling a broad or complex product portfolio
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools (Salesforce, Tableau, or similar preferred)
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
Compensation
  • Competitive base salary range: $125K per year to $175K per year, commensurate with experience and territory scope
