Position OverviewAs the Services & Modernization Sales Manager, you will spearhead strategic sales initiatives targeting industrial and utility customers. Your mission? To promote electrification services and modernization solutions while building lasting customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities. This remote position is focused on business development within the U.S. market and requires a solid background in electrical power products and services.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this dynamic role, you will:
- Lead strategic sales planning to align ABB solutions with customer business needs.
- Build and maintain strong, multi-level customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
- Identify growth opportunities , support sales activities, and negotiate contracts to advance customer objectives.
- Track market trends , maintain accurate opportunity records, and recommend actions that support ongoing business growth.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial or utility sales role).
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales, Field Services, or Marketing with a focus on customer development.
- A minimum of 5 years of knowledge and experience selling electrical power products and services.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial and utility applications for services, repairs, and products.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- A self-starter attitude, with energy and positivity that contributes to a team environment.
- Work authorization that permits you to work for ABB in the U.S.

The expected salary for this position ranges from $98,700 to $157,920 annually, plus eligibility for bonuses.
