Aboutthe Role
We are seeking a motivated Software Sales Leader to spearhead our ABB Ability Digital Powertrain portfolio solutions. This role is pivotal in driving new business acquisition, expanding territories, and generating net-new revenue across various industrial sectors, including oil & gas, food & beverage, mining, chemicals, power, water, pharmaceuticals, and new energies.
As part of the Motion Services Digital Business Line, you will report directly to the VP of Service Sales. Your mission? To execute a robust sales strategy that propels our ambitious growth plans forward!
YourKey Responsibilities
- Pipeline Generation: Utilize structured outbound sales motions—cold calling, emails, and Linked In outreach—to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Lead the entire sales process from discovery and qualification to demos, proposals, and closing deals.
- Strategic Account Growth: Develop strategies for penetrating target industries and global strategic accounts while nurturing key customer relationships.
- Business Development Leadership: Drive initiatives that expand our market presence and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Systems; an MBA is highly desirable.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise software solution selling with a strong grasp of B2B operations.
- A proven track record of delivering results as part of a larger sales team.
- Familiarity with the digital OT, ET, and IT ecosystem.
- Experience collaborating with Sales Account Managers and coaching them to success.
- Exceptional ability to influence teams and resources across the organization.
- Strong executive presentation skills, with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders.
