YourRole and Responsibilities
As the Services & Modernization Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our mission, developing and executing strategic sales plans that align with our financial and margin goals in the industrial and utility sectors. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Sales Planning: Lead the development and execution of customer plans that align ABB solutions with business needs.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, multi-level customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
- Opportunity Identification: Spot growth opportunities, support sales activities, and negotiate contracts to meet customer objectives.
- Market Insight: Track market trends, maintain accurate opportunity records, and recommend actions to support ongoing business growth.
We’re looking for passionate individuals who meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 7 years of experience in an industrial or utility sales role.
- A minimum of 5 years in Sales, Field Services, or Marketing, focusing on customer development in a pre-order capacity.
- Experience selling electrical power products and services, including switch gear, drives, motors, and transformers.
- Strong knowledge of industrial and utility applications for services, repairs, and products.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
- Must have work authorization to be employed by ABB in the US.

This remote position is primarily focused on the New England territory and contributes to our Electrification Services Division in the United States. The expected salary range for this role is between $98,700 and $157,920 annually, with bonus eligibility.
