The Danfoss regional opportunity is for a Regional Sales Manager in the Food Retail business segment. This individual will be responsible for growing sales and market share across existing accounts and generating new business with new accounts. They will have end-to-end responsibility of sales pursuits. Key responsibilities include working across all departments including senior leadership at existing and new customers. Critical skills include leveraging resources across the organization to secure opportunity wins.
This is a fully remote position. Ideally located in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, or Louisiana. We will not offer sponsorship or relocation for this position.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive account plan for growth
- Develop new business at existing key accounts
- Develop new business at non-Danfoss accounts in the designated region
- Develop relationships at the C-suite level with existing and new key accounts
- Participate in monthly business dialogue meetings
- Communicate internally with all stakeholders on business requirements for growth
- Develop and maintain Danfoss value proposition
- Manage and maintain a quality opportunity pipeline in Salesforce
- Bachelor degree in Business/Sales or equivalent experience
- More than five years of sales experience
- Strong business acumen
- C-level management experience
- Understanding of the Food Retail, Energy Management, and HVAC/R industries
- Ability to work with and through others in a matrixed organization
- Salesforce or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to travel up to 60%
