What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Engage with prospects to identify their needs and secure high-value clients through strategic sales
  • Develop tailored sales strategies and manage the sales process from account identification to closing
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships to drive new business growth
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to enhance service offerings
  • Provide peer-to-peer coaching and feedback to support team success
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Proven track record of carrying an annual sales goal of $400k+ in new logo sales
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience selling SaaS products
  • Experience in complex sales with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage a diverse sales pipeline effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and documentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Previous experience selling public affairs software or related products
  • Background as a public affairs professional or experience working with lawmakers and lobbyists
  • Demonstrated self-motivation in sourcing pipeline and building relationships
  • Familiarity with both green space and takeaway sales strategies
  • Strong understanding of the public affairs industry and current trends
