Sales Engineer-Cutting Tools; Cleveland Ohio Metro area

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join the YG-1 Team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between our technical product offerings and customer needs, providing expert guidance during the sales process. This role involves delivering product demonstrations, understanding client requirements, and supporting pre-sales activities to drive business growth. The Sales Engineer will call on specific end customers and test and specify appropriate cutting tools per the application.

The Sales Engineer will also work in partnership with the distribution channel that serves the targeted end customer.

This is a full-time remote position for a Sales Engineer specializing in cutting tools, serving clients in the Cleveland, Ohio Metro area. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for growing sales in the region, providing technical support, offering product solutions, and building strong relationships with customers. Tasks will include assessing customer needs, delivering technical presentations, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring high-level customer satisfaction.

• Proven expertise in Sales Engineering and Sales strategies
• Strong Technical Support skills to assist and guide customers with cutting tool solutions
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service abilities, with a focus on client engagement and satisfaction
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Experience in the cutting tools industry or a related technical field is highly advantageous
• Willingness to travel within the Cleveland, Ohio Metro area
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer challenges
