About Prepared by Axon:
As of October 1, 2025, Prepared joined forces with Axon to advance AI-powered emergency communications in public safety. Prepared exists to change how emergency calls are processed, supporting responders with clarity when every second counts.

Your Impact:
We are looking for a results-driven Account Executive to grow our presence in the United States public safety market, expanding relationships within PSAPs to increase revenue and the client base. This role is for a strategic thinker with a strong sales background who wants to make a meaningful impact on growth and community safety.

What You ll Do
  • Drive Growth
    :
    Grow revenue and market share in targeted public safety agencies, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Build Relationships
    :
    Develop and deepen relationships with clients to boost revenue.
  • Strategize
    :
    Formulate and implement robust account strategies with the team and present compelling value propositions.
  • Engage & Manage
    :
    Monitor client engagement, manage accounts to spot opportunities, and ensure stellar service delivery.
  • Champion Satisfaction
    :
    Understand client needs and advocate for exceptional customer service.
  • Market Insight
    :
    Share insights on market trends and competitors to influence strategic direction.
  • Lead Engagements
    :
    Navigate procurement processes with creative solutions to meet contract timelines.
  • Stay Informed
    :
    Keep abreast of industry developments to guide sales strategy and market positioning.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years in SaaS, high-growth tech, public safety, and software sales with a track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and large contracts.
  • Strategic and analytical with experience building account plans, managing pipelines, and closing enterprise deals.
  • Excellent communicator with experience engaging senior decision-makers, technical buyers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in fast-moving environments; capable of working with limited supervision.
  • Willing to travel 30-50% for in-person meetings and relationship-building.
  • Nice to have:
    Experience in public safety sales or knowledge of NG9-1-1, CAD, call-handling systems, or other public safety technologies.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the region to meet with clients and understand their needs firsthand.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development in public safety technology.
Work Location

This role is fully remote within the United States and functions as a Field Account Executive position, requiring up to 50% travel within an assigned land-and-expand territory.

Pay Transparency

Axon offers a comprehensive total compensation package, including base salary, bonus, and a robust commission structure. The annual OTE for this role ranges from $ - $ depending on geographic market; base salary varies based on level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location.
