The Sales Manager will drive new business opportunities, build strong relationships with university leaders, and position Higher
EdBPO’s AI and technology solutions as essential tools for institutional success. This role requires a strategic, consultative seller who thrives in fast‑growing environments and understands the unique needs of higher education.
Minimal travel is required. Occasional conference attendance or on‑campus visits may be needed for high‑value opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with colleges, universities, and education organizations
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution
- Present and demonstrate Higher
EdBPO solutions, including Lumina Campus AI and related service offerings - Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Enrollment leaders, Student Services, and IT leadership
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Operations, Marketing) to ensure alignment and successful client onboarding
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting
- Represent Higher
EdBPO at conferences, webinars, and industry events - Provide market insights to support product development and strategic planning
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales; experience selling to higher education is a strong advantage
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to understand and articulate technology and AI‑driven solutions
- Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
