Retail Food service Manager - Unilever Food Solutions

Pay

The pay range for this position is $99,760 to $149,640. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus

This position is bonus eligible.

Purpose of the Role

As the Retail Food service Manager, you will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth via the Top 100 Retail Chains and their manufacturing partners (Commissaries or CPUs). In addition to direct ownership of the largest Retails and CPU partners, you will also be responsible for developing and supporting a team of account executives calling on the largest regional customers within the Top 100.

You will be part of a multi‑touchpoint integrated digital ecosystem to drive growth with new customers (Reach) & current customers (Penetration). You will use data and CRM tools to plan and execute sales calls to establish yourself as a valuable partner and grow market share on the Retail Food service Channel.

You and your team will be accountable for delivering business targets like Sales Growth, Reach & Penetration, Digital Engagement, and customer presentations with both Operators and Commissaries and CPUs, often alongside a dedicated culinary and marketing team. You are responsible to execute multi‑touchpoint contact strategy online and face to face for generating demand for Food Solutions Products & delivering a great customer experience.

You will work closely with a dedicated marketing and culinary team to maximize growth and deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience.

Demand Creation

Retail Food service and Commissary/CPU

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow existing Unilever Food Solutions Retail Food service business in the US.
  • Plan to include top and bottom‑line growth opportunities, annual profit improvement actions, and customer‑specific activities to grow and maintain existing businesses.
  • Develop and coach a team of (4) national account executives. Dedicate time to coaching and developing this team, including spending time in the market and with their customers helping them to secure and land new business partnerships.
  • Identify and target NEW commissary partners to expand the Unilever Food Solutions footprint in this segment. Aggressively pursue new business opportunities.
