We are seeking a SASE Sales Director - Service Providers & Cloud to join Hewlett Packard Enterprise. This role is classified as Remote/Teleworker and will primarily work from home.

Job Description

HPE Networking is creating a high‑impact sales leadership role focused on security solutions across the Cloud and Service Provider segments. Reporting to senior networking leadership, you will own strategy, team build‑out, channel motion, and revenue for security products such as SASE, SRX, SD‑Branch, NAC, Clear Pass, SSR, and more. This role follows a hybrid sales model: your team will manage end‑to‑end selling for part of the portfolio while collaborating with core sellers on the remainder to drive cross‑sell opportunities.

Travel:
Approximately 50% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Hire and lead a team of 6–8 sales specialists (majority North America, some Europe) by year‑end; hire a leader first to define structure and go‑to‑market.
  • Own P&L and revenue targets for Cloud and SP security bookings through channel partners.
  • Build and execute go‑to‑market strategies for security solutions across cloud providers, service providers, and high‑tech accounts.
  • Establish and deepen channel partner relationships and enablement across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with core sellers, product, and marketing to align sales plays and accelerate pipeline.
  • Coach and develop individual contributors who will specialize in either Cloud or SP verticals.
Experience and Skills
  • Proven senior sales leader (manager of managers preferred) with experience building and scaling field sales teams from scratch.
  • Deep channel expertise—experience selling through partners is essential.
  • Demonstrated success selling to service providers, cloud providers, or large enterprise/high‑tech accounts.
  • Strong background in security product sales and software/enterprise license agreements.
  • Strategic thinker with hands‑on selling experience and the ability to operate in a hybrid direct/collaborative model.
  • Existing relationships in the security ecosystem (partners and customers) are a plus.
  • Experience with SASE, NAC, SRX, SD‑Branch, or related networking/security portfolios would be helpful but not required.

Salary

The expected salary range for this position is USD 269,000–537,000 annually in the United States, with a 50%/50% mix of base salary and target‑level sales compensation. Actual offers may vary by location, experience, education, and performance.
