As a member of Smartness' sales team for the Italian market, you will participate in both in-person and remote training sessions and support the team’s expansion through the following activities:
- Sales negotiation – manage a busy schedule of online and in-person appointments, clearly demonstrating our value proposition and creating enthusiasm among prospects.
- Participation in trade fairs and events – attend 1‑2 trade fairs per year and organize on‑site meetings with customers.
- Business development – proactively search for new business opportunities through cold calling and cold emailing.
- Data analysis and regular reviews – hone your analytical skills by critically reading your pipeline and using advanced sales tools.
- Reaching the monthly target – aim to reach and exceed the ARR target with an incentivizing bonus plan.
- Italian as a mother tongue.
- Good English skills (B2 level) – to interact effectively with an international company.
- Team player with a winning mentality – consistently exceed 100% of the monthly quota and support colleagues.
- Data‑driven thinking – analyze and interpret data, make decisions based on quantitative evidence, and continually improve business strategies.
- Desire to learn – attend coaching sessions and read books on sales improvement.
- Experience – at least 6‑12 months in a sales role (SaaS, Software, Services) with proven target achievement.
- Organization – attention to detail, meticulous agenda planning, and timely CRM updates.
- Productivity – strong motivation to sell into the SME market with short and intense sales cycles.
- Work in a small, high‑performing team that moves extremely fast.
