Senior Account Executive – Commercial Print

Join Canon USA as a Sr. Account Executive specializing in commercial print solutions. In this role, you will sell Canon’s hardware and software technology‑based solutions to printers, graphic houses, and fulfillment companies within an assigned account list.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision makers within the assigned account list, focusing on placing Canon equipment and solutions in new accounts.
  • Report customer activity to management, identifying customer requirements, competitive trends, and changing environments.
  • Develop strategic plans addressing customer requirements on a local basis, including short‑term and long‑term goals.
  • Provide marketing, technical and administrative support to the named accounts’ internal departments to ensure outstanding relations and excellent customer support in all facets of daily activity.
  • Develop plans to introduce/place Canon technology, service, software, and third‑party solutions to address customer requirements.
  • Establish high‑level relationships with the customer base that will enhance long‑term working partnerships.
  • Gain new market share through strategic prospecting and the ability to meet customer requirements by utilizing all resources efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, plus 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience in office technology, business‑to‑business, and outside sales.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to build solid working relationships.
  • Interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry.
  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent time‑management skills.
  • Some travel required within the local market, may include overnights (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required).
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $60,000 – $81,550 annually. This role is eligible for incentive compensation under an applicable plan, with anticipated incentive compensation at $76,582 annually at 100% of the plan. A transportation allowance is also available.

Workstyle

Full‑time hybrid schedule. Report to a local office as directed, be available to customers in‑person or remotely, with options to work from home on other business days (except when business needs dictate otherwise).
