. All candidates are required to currently reside in the Paterson territory.
- Develop and drive outstanding sales performance that ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded.
- Effectively use assigned budgets to drive therapeutic and territory expectations. Customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers.
- Routinely share information with relevant Radius stakeholders (e.g., Sales and Commercial Leaders). Work with customers at accounts to understand practice structure, business model, key influencers, network structure, customer needs and identify business opportunities.
- Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region. Identify and select programs/resources for each customer, practice, and/or system.
- Regularly use a variety of analytical tools to understand and evaluate the business to achieve sales objectives and apply resources such as HCP educational programs and samples in an effective and ethical manner.
- Develop a local business plan with leadership to ensure achievement of KPI goals and delivery on sales objectives. Capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities through the strategic plan.
- Coordinate selling efforts with other Radius Health personnel to align objectives.
- Provide timely and competent administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, sample and expense reporting.
- Must have strong self-motivation, decision-making ability, collaboration skills across functions, and the capacity to learn and adapt to overcome obstacles.
- 5+ years of sales experience in orthopedics, injectable pharmaceuticals, biologics, buy and bill or medical devices preferred.
- Experience calling on hospitals, endocrinologists and rheumatologists preferred.
- Experience in a science or healthcare environment developing customer relationships.
- Understanding of account-based selling, osteoporosis, biologic and injectable markets a significant plus.
- Experience working with Specialty Pharmacies, Distribution Hubs, and Managed Care providers to address customer and patient needs.
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information effectively.
- Must have Bachelor's Degree (any major) from an accredited college or university, a valid driver's license and safe driving record; overnight travel may be required.
The work is performed in a remote office environment with occasional required in-person office work and meetings, and frequent work in an in-person customer setting. Air, vehicle, and overnight travel is frequently required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The role may involve standing, walking, typing, and lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally.

We offer a compensation package with medical, dental and vision benefits, parental leave, a 401K match and a generous time off plan. The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000 plus incentive.
