We help business owners and executives gain peace of mind by providing enterprise-level security, compliance, and offshore engineering teams — all delivered with the support of a local security advisor. Our Tampa franchise operates as a flat, fast-moving team where you work directly with the Owner, collaborate on strategy, and help shape how we grow this region.

Position: Business Development Director (Director / AVP / VP, depending on experience)

Location: Remote, based in the greater Tampa region (local in-person meetings and events required)

Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor | Commission-Only | Full-Time

Role Overview

As a Business Development Director, you will lead and drive new business in managed services and cybersecurity solutions for mid-market and enterprise clients. You’ll operate remotely while meeting prospects in person across the region, building C‑suite relationships, crafting strategic deals, and owning the full sales cycle. You’ll leverage Hub Spot and a full database, plus company‑covered networking and marketing costs, while still leading your own pipeline generation and revenue production.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to grow revenue in your territory
  • Prospecting and engaging new logos through calls, meetings, events, and referrals
  • Leading high‑level negotiations with business owners, executives, and key decision‑makers
  • Building and managing a robust pipeline using Hub Spot and a full contact database
  • Accurately forecasting short‑term and long‑term sales and reporting performance
  • Collaborating directly with the Owner on market strategy, targeting, and key initiatives
  • Using data and analytics to evaluate profits, risks, and opportunities for growth
  • Representing Cyberglobal at local meetings, trade shows, and industry events

Who Thrives Here

We’re looking for a seasoned hunter who is comfortable in a performance‑driven, commission‑only environment and wants to help build something — not just maintain an existing book.

Required:

  • 5–7 years of experience in managed services sales (IT, MSP, or similar B2B services)
  • Proven success driving new business, not just account management
  • Comfort selling into C‑suite and executive‑level stakeholders
  • Willingness to pick up the phone, knock on doors, and do in‑person meetings
  • Ability to work remotely while consistently putting in 40+ hours per week
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling offshore engineering teams or offshore delivery models
  • Background in cybersecurity (solutions, managed security, or compliance)
  • Familiarity with Hub Spot or similar CRM systems
  • Experience working in a flat, entrepreneurial, or early‑stage environment

Compensation & Earning Potential

Compensation:

  • Commission‑Only at 15% of all gross sales
  • Uncapped earning potential — your income is directly tied to your production
  • Year‑end bonuses based on final revenue

To give you a transparent example (not a guarantee of earnings):

If you generate $150,000–$750,000 in annual sales, 15% commissions would equal $22,500–$112,500 in commissions before bonuses.
