Role OverviewRegional Sales Manager is responsible for leading the growth of the Digital Pathology business in the Western United States. You will execute strategies to drive growth, manage Digital Pathology Sales Specialists and Solution Architects, and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve and exceed regional quarterly and annual sales quotas, strategic and unit sales mix objectives, profit goal and market share goals.
- Provide direction, leadership, coaching and mentoring for direct sales representatives and solution architects.
- Build a strong network with strategic customers and actively participate in regional DP sales projects.
- Recruit, develop and train sales associates with clearly communicated performance standards.
- Forecast monthly revenue projections utilizing the company CRM ().
- Drive standard work for funnel management processes in CRM () and the DPIP (Digital Pathology Implementation Plan) process.
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior management experience preferred.
- Prior capital sales experience.
- Contract negotiation/high-level selling experience or experience selling in a matrixed environment.
- Experience with or other CRM.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- 50% - 75% travel.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage and/or company meetings.
- High-level relationships within key accounts (including NA Top 10) in assigned geography, including senior hospital management, laboratory administration, pathology departments, purchasing/materials management, contracts administration, and other key departments.
The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 – $200,000
. This position is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
