What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Drive growth across customer accounts, focusing on developing new OEM and machine builder relationships
  • Collaborate with the Distributor Commercial team to pursue end customer business opportunities
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within the designated territory
  • Educate customers on the differentiation and value of products, guiding them to customized solutions
  • Report market conditions and competitor trends to the leadership team regularly
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BA/BS in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside technical sales experience; motion control experience with motors/drives/controls preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of products
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Proven skills in account planning, time management, and CRM proficiency
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in motion control and familiarity with various industrial applications
  • Strong relationship-building skills with OEMs and distributors
  • Advanced negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver value-driven solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Experience in a matrixed environment, collaborating cross-functionally
