Sales Consultant

Job Overview

As a Fire & Life Safety Consultant for Kitchen Guard, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safety and compliance for commercial kitchens. This position combines technical fieldwork with outside sales to promote our mandated fire safety services.

Kitchen Guard is a leading provider of kitchen exhaust and deep cleaning services for commercial kitchens. Since 2009, we’ve grown into one of California’s largest service providers in our space, known for our commitment to safety, quality, and service.

• Identify and pursue new business within target markets.
• Conduct presentations and demos to promote services.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and decision-makers.
• Develop and present proposals with pricing and timelines.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Conduct onsite inspections and provide tailored safety solutions.
• Stay current on industry trends and standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Support the safe installation and maintenance of fire safety systems.

• B2B sales experience (fire/life safety or restaurant industry preferred).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working on rooftops and around grease.
• Self-starter with solid time management and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy and able to adapt to new tools and systems.
• Positive team player with a solution-oriented mindset.

• Background in commercial services or related fields.
• Relevant certifications in fire safety or sales.
• Degree in Fire Science, Safety Engineering, or Business.

• Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops.
• Able to lift 40+ lbs and use ladders.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $ per year
