Senior Account Executive- Charleston

MLM Transport is a fast-growing, full-service transportation company offering both asset-based capacity and freight brokerage solutions. We are seeking an experienced, self-driven Senior Account Executive with an existing and transferable book of business who is ready to grow alongside a company built on reliability, transparency, and performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue through both new customer acquisition and the expansion of your existing accounts, leveraging MLM Transport's brokerage and asset-based fleet to deliver tailored transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing, transferable book of business while actively prospecting for new customers
• Identify customer transportation needs and deliver customized asset-based and/or brokerage freight solutions
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with shippers to driver retention and account expansion
• Negotiate rates and contracts with customers and carrier partners to maximize profitability and service quality
• Collaborate with internal operations and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a freight broker or account executive, with an existing and transferable book of business
• Demonstrated success in sales, account management, or business development within logistics or transportation
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team
• Comfortable selling brokerage services, asset-based capacity, or a hybrid of both
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission (designed for experienced producers)
