Market Manager – ILSCO/ERICO – Commercial USA Sales – Electrical Connections

Apply to join nVent’s dynamic team as the Market Manager for the ILSCO/ERICO brands within the Electrical Connections business. In this role you will lead demand creation, product expertise, and revenue growth across the United States Commercial Market, collaborating closely with a dedicated sales team to achieve sales targets. The position allows remote work from a home office with up to 60% travel, and can be based anywhere in the United States with close proximity to a major airport.

What You Will Experience In This Position
  • Sales Strategy & Execution – partner to develop & implement tailored sales strategies and value propositions for contractors, end‑users, specification engineers, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Leadership & Sales Enablement – lead product training programs, mentor RSMs, agents, & channel sales teams, and develop a high‑performing inside sales team.
  • Revenue, Performance & Demand Management – oversee quotes, pricing, and metrics to ensure profitability; analyze sales data and support distributor inventory planning.
  • Customer & Field Engagement – provide product expertise, coordinate customer inquiries, maintain relationships with key customers and partners, and represent nVent at industry events.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – partner with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, & Operations to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Sales Operations – use Salesforce to manage pipelines and communicate internal feedback.
  • Performance Analysis – monitor sales data and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
You Have
  • 5+ years of technical product sales experience, preferably in electrical or industrial markets, with grounding and bonding knowledge.
  • Experience working closely with Product Development and Product Management.
  • Ability to work remotely from home and travel ~60% of the time across the U.S.; holds a valid driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills to achieve consensus both internally and externally.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, independent work ethic, and a high level of personal responsibility.
  • Customer‑centric mindset, acting as a bridge between field and support functions.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and sales‑analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline (preferred) or equivalent sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B industrial or electrical product sales.
  • Familiarity with channel sales and distribution networks.

Pay Transparency

The total target cash pay for this position comprises base salary plus sales incentive, contingent on annual sales goal attainment. Pay is based on location, experience, and performance, and complies with applicable minimum wage requirements. If sales targets are exceeded, pay may exceed the listed range.
