Outside Sales Territory Manager
LocationGreater Chicago region – remote role on the road with branches in Bensenville, IL and Vernon Hills, IL from which products are distributed to customers.
Established Customer BaseYou will inherit between 100-200 active accounts worth millions; your goal is to grow business in the territory and gradually add new customers. These will be your customers and yours alone – no internal competition. All representatives stay in their own territories.
RegionDowntown + west to the end of Cook County + North to I‑90 + South Suburbs.
Compensation Structure Basics$80k to $90k base. $120k+ is doable on a good first year. 3‑month guarantee at target (base) salary followed by a 90% base guarantee for staying above your gross profit floor. $600/month auto allowance + $0.18/mile using MOTUS fuel reimbursement mobile device application. Commission is uncapped with several tiers paid quarterly. Example:
If you perform at 105% of sales plan, you receive a commission bonus for the quarter of 25% of your quarterly base income. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss your “all‑in” goal (gross pretax income) with sales management during the interview process.

ResponsibilitiesAs a sales representative, you will work independently and decide how to best grow your market. You will look for top solutions for both the company and our customers and deliver quality service and reliability. Your responsibilities include handling current customer accounts, growing sales and growing your accounts overall. Treat your territory as if it is your own business, use your follow‑up skills and help us become the company of choice for our customers.
Requirements- Two (2) years of demonstrated success in outside sales experience, preferably in the woodworking or industrial/distribution arena
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
