O’Connor Insurance Associates is a family‑run agency in Charlotte, NC that values relationships over scale We specialize in commercial B2B insurance and are looking for a Commercial Producer to join our growing team.

You’ll work directly with business owners, CEOs, presidents, and CFOs, building trusted advisor relationships that help them protect their businesses. You’ll be at the center of our commercial sales growth, shaping strategy and building a book of business across North Carolina and beyond.

• Identify and qualify new commercial insurance prospects through cold calling, networking, and site visits.
• Deliver tailored solutions and educate clients on risk coverage.
• Manage a voluntary territory, traveling to business sites and attending local events.
• Build and maintain a book of business, focusing on retention and renewals.
• Provide a high‑level advisor experience, acting as the clients’ go‑to expert.
• Use quoting platforms, CRM tools, and emerging AI to work smarter.
• Mentor and collaborate with the team to drive collective success.

• Proven experience in B2B commercial insurance or a closely related field.
• Strong relationship‑building skills; can walk into any business and secure follow‑up meetings.
• Comfortable with a long sales cycle and renewal timing.
• Physically capable of traveling in North Carolina and, as the book grows, licensing additional states.
• Integrity‑first sales approach; focuses on trust, not just quotes.

• $50,000 base salary + commission (draw).
