Job Description Summary The Territory Manager will drive sales revenue to exceed division priorities, define and develop new business opportunities, and contribute to overall team success. The role requires strong clinical excellence, product knowledge, and the ability to manage challenging situations quickly. Experience in hospital, office, and clinical settings is required. The manager will develop key relationships through frequent visits, product demonstrations, and in-service sessions, and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, materials management, and hospital executives.

Columbus, OH and anywhere South to Cincinnati, OH
Territory Coverage: Southern OH, Western PA, and West Virginia
Responsibilities- Drive sales revenue to exceed established priorities and revenue targets.
- Define and develop sustainable new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain sustainable strategic business relationships in key accounts.
- Perform product demonstrations, customer education, and in-service as required.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual plans designed to meet revenue targets.
- Maintain a level of excellence in clinical knowledge within respective disease states.
- Maintain excellence in territory management and selling skills.
- Control expenses within territory budgets.
- Maintain open, positive, and productive communication with the sales team, customer service, sales management, and home office staff.
- Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the BD Quality Policy.
- Complete administrative duties in a timely manner including Salesforce maintenance, monthly results reports, and other assignments.
- Maintain accurate customer and account files in Salesforce.
- Attend and represent BD at local, regional, and national medical conferences.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in medical device sales and/or B2B.
- Proven track record with quantifiable sales results.
- Valid state‑issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
- Frequent travel within the territory up to 35% (1‑2 overnights a week).
- Organizations that offer rigorous training programs.
- Experience in high‑tech, pharmaceutical, copier, payment systems, Rent‑A‑Car, or uniform sales.
- Sales experience in a highly competitive field.
- Experience using a CRM system.
- Experience selling capital equipment and understanding the capital selling process.
At BD, we prioritize on‑site collaboration and require a minimum of 4 days in‑office presence per week for most roles.
The compensation range is $80k‑$165k annual, including base and incentive.
