Sales & Leasing Agent

Reports to:

Community Manager (CM)

We’re looking for a motivated Sales & Leasing Agent to join our Sunrise Communities team. In this role, you’ll market, sell, and rent homes within our communities, build strong relationships with residents, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be supported with coaching and tools to succeed, while enjoying the chance to be creative and results-driven.

What You’ll Do
  • Market, sell, and rent homes to achieve community business goals.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with proactive lead generation.
  • Drive results through prospecting, networking, open houses, and community events.
  • Showcase homes with a customer‑first mindset, highlighting features and community benefits.
  • Move prospects through the Sunrise Sales Matrix and manage closings, contracts, and compliance.
  • Provide timely follow‑up with prospects and log communication in CRM.
  • Create a smooth buying/renting experience while ensuring compliance with company policies, Fair Housing standards, and state regulations.
  • Stay informed on local market, competition, and community offerings.
Resident Relations & Referrals
  • Build strong relationships with residents and ensure satisfaction after move‑in.
  • Generate referral sales by maintaining positive resident experiences.
  • Engage current renters to transition them into home ownership opportunities.
Other Responsibilities
  • Balance multiple priorities while completing tasks accurately and on time.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to review sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Community Managers, Regional VPs, Sales Directors, and the Home Office team.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong communicator with excellent follow‑up skills.
  • Driven, organized, and self‑motivated with a customer‑service mindset.
  • Sales, leasing, or real estate experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
