Account Director at Baires Dev

We are seeking a Senior Account Director based in Texas to join our leadership team. As a senior leader at Baires Dev, the Account Director is responsible for building long‑term relationships with clients at the executive level, based on a deep understanding of their IT business needs. You'll drive strategic growth initiatives while managing key client account relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

What You’ll Do:
  • Build long‑term trusting relationships with clients and present our company to potential/referred clients through meetings, listening to their wishes and concerns.
  • Create account plans and report on revenue/headcount growth results to the Global Account Manager or Account Directors on a regular basis.
  • Conduct market research to identify upselling opportunities and assess customer needs, prepare and deliver presentations on appropriate services.
  • Proactively seek new opportunities through client referrals, networking, and social media.
  • Bring new business leads to increase revenue, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (Staffing, Sales, Business Development) to achieve better results.
What we are looking for:
  • 8+ years of experience in sales executive/client partner/engagement manager roles or equivalent in the IT/Tech industry.
  • Experience in customer relationship management with closing deals and developing long‑term relationships with clients.
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another IT‑related degree) is a big plus.
  • Must be based in Texas, preferably in the Houston area.
  • Focused on the following industries:
    Oil and gas (Energy), or SaaS, is a great asset.
